September 2015 – September 2018: JRC. Seconded National Expert. Detached to the Joint Research Center of the European Commission (Ispra, Italy). Modelling and forecasting deforestation in the tropics.

December 2009 – September 2012: Cirad. Scientific researcher. Expatriation in Madagascar.

November 2005 – February 2009: Cemagref de Grenoble (now INRAE)- AgroParisTech. PhD Student. Structuring uncertainty and variability in allometric and demographic functions used in forest dynamics models to understand coexistence mechanisms of Silver Fir and Norway Spruce in mountain forests – A hierarchical Bayes analysis of ecological data.

May 2005 – October 2005: FREDEC-Midi-Pyrénées. In charge of studies on field crop cereals. Regional Federation for Plant Protection. Study of the relation between agricultural practices and apparition of diseases on field crops cereals. Development of statistical methods, diseases survey on field and redaction of technical advices journals.

March 2004 – August 2004: National Institute of Agricultural Research (INRA-SAD) Study of grazing and biodiversity interactions, in relation with forestry and breeding activities, in the moorlands and wetlands of a mountain area (Monts du Somail, Hérault, France).

January 2003 – March 2003: Fédération Départementale des Chasseurs de Seine-Maritime (FDC 76) Statistical classification of hunting areas for the French National Association of Hunters in order to realize conservation plans to protect respective flora and fauna.

September 2002 – December 2002: ADEME Development of a complete data base and GIS describing organic material layers and their possible utilizations in Brittany (France).

October 2001 – April 2002: The Mountain Institute (TMI) Creation of an information meta-system used for the monitoring and evaluation of development projects undertaken by the NGO The Mountain Institute in The White Cordillera (Peru). Development of ecological, social and political indicators.

July 2001 – September 2001: Cemagref de Nogent-sur-Vernisson (now INRAE) Statistical modelling of temperate forests resistance to tempests in the Cemagref investigation center at Nogent-sur-Vernisson (France) using physical and management factors in non-linear mixed effects models.
